How to Learn - Study Tips for intensive practice

Study Tips for your May holiday / for intensive practice before your tests

MOST IMPORTANT: Listening/Speaking: intensive listening practice doing different exercises: listen and repeat, listen and take notes, listen and make a spoken/written summary of the audio. Check out our Listening section for podcasts (in case you have finished with the audios in the book or wish to change to more authentic texts) and our Speaking section (or your notes) to review textual structure in dialogues.
ANOTHER PRIORITY: Reading: use the textbook and time yourself using the skimming and scanning technique (skim + 2 scan), underline key words in questions too.

In case you want to do more:
Writing: work on your list of types of texts. Outline + useful language ; example. You can check our Writing section to find work on that, too.
Grammar: read aloud the grammar reference section in your textbook and/or my notes. Think of examples for each theoretical point, examples which fit your reality!
Check out our Functional Grammar section plus Useful Language, to get more on this.
